Job Description

We are currently hiring an experienced, compassionate, and dependable Caregiver for our Lawrenceville, Georgia location. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others, providing quality care, and making a positive difference in clients' lives.

The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of caregiving experience, a caring attitude, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing safe and respectful care.

Responsibilities

Assist the client with meal preparation and eating as needed.
Assist with showering, dressing, toileting, and changing adult undergarments.
Provide medication reminders according to the care plan.
Assist with transfers and walking, taking extra precautions due to fall risk.
Provide support with mobility, as the client has left-sided weakness from a stroke that affects her balance, ambulation, and transfers.
Change bed linens and make the bed.
Perform light housekeeping, including cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming, doing laundry, and emptying trash.
Maintain a safe and clean environment while treating the client with dignity, patience, and respect.

Requirements

At least 3 years of caregiving experience is required.
Dependable, punctual, and professional.
Compassionate and patient, with a genuine desire to help others.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow instructions and care plans.
Must meet applicable background check and hiring requirements.
Driver's License

CPR/First Aid Certificate
