Home Helpers Home Care of West Marietta is seeking an experienced, dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to support our growing non-medical home care agency on a PRN / part-time basis.
This role is ideal for an RN who enjoys working with older adults and values flexibility, independent field work, and meaningful clinical oversight. The RN will play an important role in helping ensure client care plans, caregiver support, documentation, and regulatory requirements remain strong as the agency grows.

We show up. We stay consistent. We communicate.
Responsibilities

- Assess mobility, cognition, fall risk, ADLs, and overall care needs
- Identify changes in condition or safety concerns
- Provide caregiver guidance and competency support
- Complete timely documentation
- Support compliance and survey readiness
- Collaborate with clients, families, caregivers, and agency leadership
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Georgia RN license
- Experience with older adults
- Strong assessment and documentation skills
- Comfortable working independently in client homes
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Home care, home health, hospice, rehabilitation, geriatrics, or case management experience preferred

- Experience completing nursing assessments and developing or updating care plans
- Familiarity with dementia, fall risk, mobility limitations, transfers, and activities of daily living
- Comfortable identifying when client needs exceed the scope of non-medical home care
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Experience providing caregiver education, competency support, or clinical oversight is a plus
Schedule
PRN / part-time with flexible scheduling
Anticipated volume is approximately 2–5 field visits per month initially, with additional opportunities as client census grows.

The RN may coordinate directly with clients and families to schedule visits based on mutual availability. Visits may occur on weekdays, evenings, or weekends depending on client needs and RN availability.
Compensation
Competitive PRN compensation based on experience and assignment complexity:
