Caregiver Responsibilities
Responsibilities may vary based on the client's needs and care plan, but may include:
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with personal care, including bathing and toileting
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Meal preparation
- Transportation to appointments and errands
- Following individualized care plans
- Promoting client comfort, safety, and independence
- Communicating professionally with families and team members
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Willingness to complete all required employment screenings and onboarding requirements
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Clean driving record
- Prior home care or caregiving experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Access to email and a smartphone
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism, client confidentiality, and ethical standards of care
