Job Opportunity: Companion Caregiver for Male Client with Dementia

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Companion Caregiver to support a male client with early onset dementia. He is physically independent and active/healthy. Shifts are usually full of activities such as going for walks, going to the library, listening to music, engaging activities, etc. If you have a heart for caregiving and experience in dementia care, we'd love to have you on our team!

Position Details:

Role: Companion Caregiver
Schedule: 2-3 days per week, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hourly Rate: $16 per hour ($18 per hour with valid NJ CHHA license)
Requirements: Must have experience working with dementia clients and a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities:

Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities
Assist with daily tasks and ensure the client’s comfort and safety
Keep client safety as number one priority
Take the client on long walks, and visits to libraries, museums, and other enjoyable outings
