Job Description:  

The Lead Caregiver’s role is to assist with filling in shifts for call-ins, new clients, as well as fulfilling previously scheduled clients. This may also include office work, or other items requested by management.  The purpose of this role is to be able to keep the current schedule intact, and on-board new clients as needed.  The LC will be paid for a full week, regardless of hours worked.  This role is also eligible for overtime.  This role can include, but is not limited to the following duties: 
 
  • Filling in on short notice for shifts with new clients while staff is being trained and scheduled. 
  • Filling in on short notice for shifts for “call-ins” or other emergencies. 
  • Caregiving with regular clients, as needed. 
  • Assist in field training for staff as needed. 
  • Other duties as directed 
 
Job Requirements: 
  • Must have FULL availability between 7am-9pm, Monday thru Friday to be able to take shifts
  • Must be professional in appearance and demeanor, reliable and dependable in follow through of job duties, and be a compassionate, honest and caring individual. 
  • Must have exceptional people skills, effective communication skills, and outstanding organizational skills. 
  • Must have successful track record with client care. 
  • Must have ability to service any client.  
  • Must be a self-starter, with inner drive to succeed with little supervision. 
  • Must have a good driving record. 
  • Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test.   
 
Education/Certification Requirements: 
  • Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant Certification Program or Equivalent experience 
  • All Continuing Education Units required for maintaining License or Certification is the employee’s responsibility to be updated and submitted upon completion. 
 
Health Requirements:  
  • Must be willing and pass the following medical requirements: 
  • drug screen prior to employment 
  • required random drug screens 
  • pre-employment and annual physical exam (upon request) 
  • Must be able to physically assist with client transfers
