Immediate Opening for part time caregiver for client in Algonquin. Weekends only Saturday and Sunday 8:00 am-4:00 pm
Weekend differential being offered.
Home Helpers is currently seeking a daytime come and go caregiver in the Palatine area with at least 1-year of experience out in the field, with an agency or a facility This is a part time client with a total of 20 hours a week.. Primary Responsibilities:
- Companionship
- Personal Care (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Light housekeeping
- Meal prep and clean up
- Laundry
- Medication reminders
- Transportation
- Following a plan of care
- Communicate professionally with families and your team
Qualifications:
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 19 years to apply
- Must be able to pass criminal background checks
- Experience of 1 year plus caregiving with an agency or facility is required
- Must be proficient in reading and writing the English language
- Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance, this is required for all of our caregiving positions
- Vehicle with valid insurance and registration (as required)
- Access to email and mobile device
- Must understand and respect client ethics and confidentiality of care
