Home Helpers is a complete Non-Medical Home Care Agency. We help people continue to live in their own homes, for as long as possible.

We are currently hiring for a full-time overnight position, with rotating weekends. One weekend per month is required. CNA's are preferred, but are not required.

Job Duties:
Our goal is to help people continue to live in their own home, for as long as possible. The needs are different for each Client we serve.

Some of your tasks might include:

Medication Reminders
Meal Planning, Preparation, Cooking and Feeding
Housekeeping
Laundry
Exercise Encouragement and Supervision
Assistance with Bathing, Dressing, and Grooming
Assistance with Ambulation, Transferring and Positioning
Supervision and Companionship
Play Games, Outings, Social Integration

Job Responsibilities:

Follow Client Care Plan
Observe, Document, and Report Client Activity
Use WellSky (ClearCare) App to Clock In and Out
Have an Open Line of Communication with Office Staff

I worked at Home Helpers of Bourbonnais for 5 year and it was by far the best job I’ve had. The owner is very invested in her business and truly cares about her staff and Clients. The office staff is very professional and does a great job managing. As a caregiver you can have as many or as little hours as you wish. Schedules do change but that’s only when the clients need changed. I also had an updated care plan for every client and I was able to assist with making sure that my clients had the best care as my shift ended. Supervisors are not at every clients house all the time but they are very involved and always reachable.
