This full-time position offers consistent, guaranteed hours with a steady work schedule, ensuring a reliable income.
The Lead Caregiver will play a critical role in both client care and overseeing the daily operations of our caregiving team. You’ll be working closely with management, ensuring our clients receive exceptional service while also providing mentorship and support to fellow caregivers. This position requires you to be available in the office for coordination tasks, while also being ready to fill in for caregivers and respond to client needs. Must have a car and be able to travel within San Mateo County.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for both clients and caregivers, ensuring smooth communication and service delivery
- Be available in the office to coordinate caregiver schedules, provide administrative support, and handle day-to-day client inquiries
- Step in to provide direct client care as needed, including assisting with ADL (activities of daily living), meal preparation, and companionship
- Mentor and train new caregivers, ensuring they adhere to company policies and best practices in client care
- Monitor the progress of ongoing care plans, adjusting when necessary to meet client needs
- Manage client care documentation and ensure all records are up to date
- Respond quickly to urgent client or caregiver needs, including filling in on shifts when necessary
- Collaborate with office management to improve service delivery and caregiving processes
- Attend regular team meetings and provide feedback on ways to enhance the client and caregiver experience
Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in caregiving, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to work a consistent, full-time schedule (40 hours/week)
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a busy environment
- Comfortable providing both hands-on care and office-based support
- Compassion for the elderly and a commitment to delivering the highest standard of care
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation for client visits
- Experience using basic computer applications for scheduling and documentation
Experience & Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of caregiving experience
- Must be able to communicate and understand English
- We utilize E-Verify for work eligibility
- Previous leadership or management experience preferred
- Must pass a criminal and Department of Motor Vehicles background check
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment and provide direct care as needed
